There are also all kinds of free anonymous surfing tools available. Their free web based proxy does not work from China, but I have used it before and can vouch for its quality. However, their ProVPN is still a much better choice as you can imagine.

It's a paid service though, so you'll have to shell out at least six dollar a month. Depending on your anonymous surfing needs and situation, this might be worth it.
